The following details were observed on a building dating to the early 20th century which is the recipient of casual maintenance.  The double doors originally led to a fraternal lodge on the second floor.

Recessed entry to second floor.  Projecting bands of brick flanking the arch had been hacked away to accommodate a sign or canopy.

Detail of keystone (unfortunately foreshortened).  Note the use of a buff ironspot brick paired with reddish mortar.

Detail of doors.  The cast (bronze? iron? brass?) hardware is typical of the era and nicely detailed.

A simple yet stylish tile floor into which some effort was put a century ago.

Beautifully corbeled cornice.
