Don’t be alarmed; I won’t be doing McMansions on a regular basis! But I saw this on Zillow.com and couldn’t resist. I’ve taken the following nine photos from the listing there which really don’t need any captions – they speak for themselves. So, I’ll just number the photos. Enjoy!
Just for Fun…

absolutely gorgeous especially the garages being the focal point of the building. lose the can lights though
Just the can lights?! Yeah, it’s difficult to not see the garages… can’t help but wonder if they are designated “his and hers”. The double-wide driveway with a flagpole in the center is something I’ve not encountered previously.
Those wood railings and pillars were probably really expensive. I just wish they weren’t so ugly and in-your-face. And that flagpole and split garage–never seen that before!
An entablature of some sort connecting the pillars might have helped to tone them down and integrate them (had it been thought of initially). The starting newel post on the staircase is shorter than the next two… that doesn’t help, either!
the U shape of the house reminds me of several of the huge mansions on long island but they never would have been so tasteless as to make the 2 stick out pieces garages. what is it with new houses that people have to say “I HAVE A CAR”. It makes the houses ugly that the garage is the main feature of the architecture. this ain’t 1910 -everybody has a car.
I guess it’s a way to say “Hey, everyone… I have at least SIX cars!!!!!!!!!!”
Wow.
The house is…monumentally bad!
